Calling all bargain hunters: Target's "early" Black Friday sale is officially underway.
The retailer couldn't wait to unveil its holiday shopping specials, offering a number of deals through the month of December to give customers all the bang for their buck. Deal of the Day specials began Friday, Nov. 1 and will last each day through Tuesday, Dec. 24 for Target Circle members on the Target app.
Target will also host a new three-day Early Black Friday Sale, which will run until Saturday, Nov. 9. The sale features "thousands of hot new deals, many up to 50% off," Target said in a Wednesday news release.
Target's weekly deals have returned, too, and will run through the holiday season. All weekly deals can be found in Target's Weekly Ad every Friday. This week's deals include discounts on select cosmetic products, laundry and bathroom "must haves" and some food items like salad kits and snacks.
According to the National Retail Federation, the upcoming holiday shopping season could be a busy one, with consumer spending expected to surpass that of last year by 2.5-3.5%.
"We know consumers have a lot of choices when it comes to holiday shopping, so we're leaning into what Target does better than anyone – great products, great prices and a shopping experience that's easy and fun," Rick Gomez, executive vice president and chief commercial officer, Target, said in a statement.
Retail competitor Walmart also released some Black Friday plans this week, unveiling special sales dates from Nov. 11 through Cyber Monday (Dec. 1).
What to know about Target's Early Black Friday Sale
You don't have to wait for Black Friday to start holiday shopping if you don't want to, at least not at Target.
The retailer's Early Black Friday sale began Thursday and runs through Saturday, Nov. 9.
Target stores will be open regular hours, typically 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. local time. Apparel, accessories, toys, kitchen products, floorcare, holiday decor and bedding and lighting are among the items on sale:
Target's top Early Black Friday Sale offers
- Up to 50% off small appliances
- 50% off Threshold holiday sheets
- Up to 40% off tech
- 30% off select toys
- 30% off clothing and shoes
- 30% off holiday trees and lights.
Target's Holiday Price Match Guarantee will also be in effect as you buy groceries or any holiday gifts through Christmas Eve. That means if an item you purchased goes lower at Target later in the season, the retailer will price-match it. Target will also match select competitors' pricing within 14 days of purchase.
