Spotted together at the movies: Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds—sort of.
The Gossip Girl alum shined a spotlight on her and her husband’s latest films with a photo of a framed poster for It Ends With Us alongside one of his Deadpool & Wolverine.
Blake shared the picture of their movie posters—her film, based on the Colleen Hoover book, releases Aug. 9 while his third outing as Deadpool hits theaters July 26—side-by-side on her Instagram Stories July 17 and wrote, “Family portrait.”
The couple is no stranger to cheeky social media shoutouts. In fact, the Age of Adaline star couldn’t help but poke fun at Ryan just days before for posting a throwback selfie with her while he was at work.
“Stop missing me on your press tour,” Blake, 36, joked on her Instagram Stories. “Get out there and hustle boy.” But she also added what she really felt, concluding, “Which is girl code for don’t you ever stop missing me for a second.”
And Ryan, 47, wasn’t the only one who shared their love online. After all, Blake—who welcomed daughters James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty, 4, and a fourth child in 2023 with Ryan—had heart eyes for the IF actor when he was on stage for a Deadpool event with a dog just days before.
“SOS,” she wrote alongside the video of Ryan and Peggy, the pup in the movie who previously won Ugliest Dog in Britain. “He’s trying to get me pregnant again. Put the dog that you find adorable in spite of societal k9 expectations away and take off the damn teal suit! Rude.”
For the pair, who tied the knot in 2012, trolling each other online and in person has always been a form of affection.
"We do it in real life all the time," Blake previously explained to HELLO! Magazine. "It was just an organic thing, and I don't know where or when it happened, but all day long, we are just [teasing] each other because that's my best friend!"
Now, keep reading to see where it all began for Blake and Ryan.
